ANGO GOMBE CHAPTER VISITS NEDC'S STATE OFFICE

In a significant move towards fostering collaboration and strengthening community development efforts, the Association of Non-governmental Organizations (ANGO) Gombe Chapter paid a courtesy visit to the Gombe State Office of the North East Development Commission (NEDC).


The ANGO delegation, led by its chairman, Idris Maigari Lawanti, was warmly received by the acting coordinator of the NEDC Gombe State Office, Alh Rufai Lawan Babamanu.


The visit provided an opportunity for both parties to discuss ways of enhancing their partnership and ensuring a more inclusive and results-based approach to the development of Gombe State and the North-East region at large.


During the meeting, Maidegari commended the efforts of the NEDC and extolled the commission's quick response and successful interventions in various communities across the region.


He reiterated the commitment of ANGO and its members to work closely with the commission to further strengthen the development initiatives and bring about meaningful progress for the people of Gombe State.


In his response, the acting coordinator, Alh Rufai Lawan Babamanu, expressed his appreciation for the visit and assured the ANGO delegation that the commission is dedicated to working collaboratively with them.


He emphasized the commission's willingness to keep the ANGO members informed and involved in the ongoing and future development intervention projects in the state.


The ANGO delegation was represented by a team of prominent members, including Idris Maigari (Chairman), Joshua Stephens (Admin and Finance), Yahaya Mohd (Assistant Secretary), Gloria Usman (Deputy Chairman), and Bachama Yusuf (Secretary).


Others at the commission were Abdullahi Adamu Mashafi (Admin and Finance), Ahmed Yuguda (Operations), Bala Yunusa (Operations), Kala Dalaky (ICT Heads), and Aishatu Abubakar (Admin) and many others.


The visit was seen as a significant step in strengthening the relationship between the ANGO and the commission.


 ..both parties expressed readiness for the future and their shared vision of creating a more prosperous and inclusive Gombe State.
